September Athletes of the Month

Congratulations to our Athletes of the Month!

Coach Rhi – Student athletes are often faced with a difficult question: “Why you are an athlete?” Mylin’s ongoing journey for her WHY is evident in her play: unteachable dedication and desire to improve floods the court when she steps onto it. Mylin is indeed valuable beyond her identity or status as an athlete, but boy does she give her best to improve by 1%!

Coach Chris – Mylin is the kind of leader every coach admires—driven, focused, and unshakably positive. She never makes excuses, never complains, and always finds a way to rally her teammates and lock in on the next play. Her presence elevates everyone around her

Ms. Aye – Milyn is a fantastic student who truly embodies the discipline of an athlete in the classroom. She approaches challenging material with focus and persistence, setting a high standard for her peers. Her positive energy and collaborative spirit make her a joy to have in class. She doesn’t just excel in her own work; she consistently lifts up the quality of discussion and supports her classmates

Ms. Maderos – As a star player on the varsity volleyball team, Milyn is known for her tenacity and relentless pursuit of excellence on the court. Just as impressive, she brings the same level of dedication and commitment to her academics, making academic excellence a top priority as well. I am so proud of Milyn for bringing her best on and off the volleyball court every day.

Ms. Q – Milyn consistently demonstrates outstanding responsibility and teamwork by actively participating in class and contributing a positive and encouraging attitude in and out of the classroom.

Ms. Seibert – Milyn is passionate about athletics which is shown in her current Leadership Role. She is kind, respectful and is diligent about her communication skills. Milyn is an absolutely pleasure to have in class and work with this year!

Coach Franco – Hansel is a strong, quiet leader both on and off the field. He is always willing to put in the extra work to excel at whatever it is he is asked to do.
Coach Machado – Hansel has always had great talent, and it is great to see him embracing the process and taking his abilities to the next level. I’m excited to see him continue to develop as an athlete and all of the team success that will happen as a result!”

Ms. Vargas – Hansel is a talented athlete and communicator. He is the kind of student who keeps class lively and reminds us that smiles and laughter are important by turning everyday moments into memorable and detailed stories, and sometimes even songs!

Ms. DeLancey – Hansel has shown great leadership skills in our chemistry lab today.  He kept his lab mates on task as they progressed through the steps of the lab procedure.

Ms. Roman Diaz – It is a pleasure to have Hansel in my Spanish class. He consistently brings a positive attitude and a great energy to the classroom. His famous words, “Can I have a piece of candy, Mrs. Roman Díaz?”
